About

Kseniia Novikova is an experienced ballet dancer based in Den Haag, Netherlands. With a career that spans over two decades, she has a rich ballet background worldwide, performing with some of the most prestigious companies and productions.

Kseniia’s journey in ballet began with a solid educational foundation. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Choreography from the Kyiv National College of Choreography, a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical and Contemporary Choreography from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Art, and a Master’s Degree in Business, Trade, and Exchange Activities from KROK University of Economics and Law. This blend of artistic and business education has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of both the creative and administrative aspects of the performing arts.

Her professional career is highlighted by her tenure as a soloist ballet and character dancer at The National Opera of Ukraine, where she performed from June 2002 to February 2022. During this time, Kseniia showcased her versatility and skill in a variety of roles, collaborating closely with choreographers and directors to bring complex characters to life through dance. Her performances were marked by precise execution and deep emotional expression.

In addition to her work at The National Opera of Ukraine, Kseniia also contributed her work to the United Ukrainian Ballet from May 2022 to March 2024. Here she was working with a talented team and amazing choreographers, such as Alexey Ratmanskiy and Jiri Kylian, to create mesmerizing performances.

Kseniia’s innovative spirit is further exemplified by her founding of the TESSNO and BEOM projects, which creatively combine electronic music with symphonyc orchestra and ballet. These projects highlight her ability to blend traditional and contemporary elements, pushing the boundaries of classical dance.

Fluent in multiple languages, including English, Ukrainian, Russian, also studying French, Spanich, Portugese and starting Dutch, Ksenia brings a global perspective to her work. Her extensive travel experience has enriched her cultural understanding, enhancing her ability to connect with diverse audiences and colleagues.

Known for her communication skills, both on and off stage, Kseniia thrives in collaborative environments. Her leadership skills and ability to work in a team are complemented by her proficiency in choreography, computer skills, and a continuous eagerness to learn and adapt.

Kseniia continues to seek opportunities to contribute her skills and creativity to dynamic dance company and productions, aiming to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.
