On October 26th, 2024, the Strong Through Art Foundation hosted a heartfelt charity dinner aboard the historic liner SS Rotterdam to raise awareness and support for Ukrainian children affected by armed conflicts. The evening spotlighted the Ukrainian International Ballet, renowned for its dedication to numerous charity initiatives, as they took center stage to showcase their unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes.

The event featured an art auction and an exquisite five-course Ukrainian dinner prepared by the talented chef Igor Bragin and his team. The atmosphere was further elevated with musical performances by Michael Prins and Maria Dimova, alongside a special performance from members of the Ukrainian International Ballet.

Among the notable guests were Carola Schouten, Mayor of Rotterdam, who opened the evening with a powerful speech, His Excellency Oleksandr Karasevych, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Netherlands, as well as other esteemed figures such as Kseniya Negrutsa, Joris Voorhoeve, and Andryi Syromakha.

The event was a resounding success, raising more than €10,000 to support the construction of a rehabilitation center in the Carpathian Mountains. The funds will provide shelter, medical care, psychological support, and education for children affected by war.

This remarkable evening, held on the iconic SS Rotterdam, brought together art, solidarity, and hope, leaving a lasting impression of collective unity, generosity, and the transformative power of humanitarian efforts.
