Ukrainian International Ballet at BERMUN in Berlin

2025

On 16.11.2025  Ukrainian International Ballet took part in BERMUN, an international conference in Berlin organised by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. It brought together young people from different countries to reflect, speak, listen, and engage with the complex realities shaping our world today.

Being part of this space felt close to our own mission. At the heart of our work lies the belief that dialogue matters — and that culture, education, and human presence can open conversations that go beyond headlines and politics.

We are deeply grateful to the organisers for the invitation and for the warm, thoughtful atmosphere they created. A special thank you goes to Ukrainian war veterans Andrii Syromakha and Yevgen Syvolap, whose openness, sensitivity, and presence gave these days an особлива глибина — a depth that is felt rather than explained.

Encounters like this remind us why we do what we do: because meaningful change begins with people meeting each other, listening carefully, and daring to speak honestly.
