Taking part in Holland’s Got Talent 2025 was an intense, unexpected, and deeply valuable experience for Ukrainian International Ballet.
We stepped onto a completely different kind of stage. Fast-paced. Exposed. Demanding. In the first round, we received four yeses. In the second, three. And although our journey in the competition ended there, what stayed with us was far bigger than numbers or outcomes.
Creating a piece in less than a week, working across different dance styles, trusting each other under pressure, and sharing the stage with dancers from different countries was a powerful creative challenge. It pushed us out of our comfort zone and reminded us why we do what we do.
We left the programme with energy, gratitude, and a sense of growth. The experience gave us new perspectives, sharpened our instincts, and offered a rare opportunity to speak to a wide audience through movement.
At the same time, we are genuinely happy and proud that representatives of Ukraine won this year’s competition. Seeing Ukrainian artists succeed on such a visible platform matters, and we celebrate this achievement wholeheartedly.
Holland’s Got Talent was not just about competition for us. It was about courage. Curiosity. And the joy of stepping into the unknown together.
We take this experience with us as part of our journey and continue moving forward, inspired, grounded, and open to what comes next.
