Ukrainian International Ballet at the Eurovision Song Contest

2025

A Day We Will Remember

Ukrainian International Ballet had the honour of taking part in events connected to the Eurovision Song Contest, becoming part of a large-scale international event that brings together art, music, and millions of viewers from around the world.

We sincerely thank Jan Kooyman and Johannes JJ Pietsch for their trust and belief in our team, as well as our choreographer Dmytro Borodai for creating moments and experiences that stay with the artists long after the stage lights fade and give true meaning to collaborative work.

A special thank you goes to our incredible team of dancers and colleagues, without whom this participation would not have been possible. It is through shared effort, mutual support, and a high level of professionalism that we were able to represent ourselves with dignity on such an important stage.

Opportunities like this allow us to represent Ukraine on major international platforms and to speak to the world through the language of art. More than 17,000 people in the venue, as well as millions watching the broadcast, will hear the word “Ukraine” and see Ukrainian artists on stage.

For us, this is both a privilege and a responsibility — to demonstrate the strength of Ukrainian performing arts and to be a cultural voice in the international space, especially at a time when this presence truly matters.

We continue to move forward — with openness, gratitude, and faith in the power of art to build bridges where words sometimes fall short.
