Oleksii Hohidze was born on January 29, 2001, in Ukraine. From an early age, he showed an interest in dance, which led him to the Kyiv State Ballet School, where he studied from 2012 to 2020. Within the walls of this prestigious school, Oleksii received a classical ballet education, honing his skills and developing his talent under the guidance of experienced teachers.

After graduating from the ballet school, Oleksii began his professional career at the National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv. During his two years there, he gained valuable experience, participating in numerous productions and performing alongside the country’s leading artists.

In 2022, Oleksii moved to the Netherlands to join the United Ukrainian Ballet in The Hague. Here, he continued his career, taking part in various performances and touring across Europe. Working with this company allowed him to expand his repertoire and improve his professional skills.

Oleksii Hohidze has performed many roles in well-known ballet productions, including “Peasant Pas de Deux” (Giselle by Alexei Ratmansky), “Wartime Elegy” (a short performance by Alexei Ratmansky), as well as famous ballets such as “Giselle,” “La Sylphide,” “La Bayadere,” “Le Corsaire,” “Don Quixote,” “The Forest Song,” “Raymonda,” “The Nutcracker,” “Swan Lake,” “The Sleeping Beauty,” and “Paquita.”
