Yaroslava Zhyvolup is a dedicated and passionate ballet dancer with extensive experience performing leading roles on international stages. Born and raised in Ukraine, Yaroslava’s ballet journey began at the Kharkiv Ballet School (2000-2002) and continued at the Kyiv Children’s Art School No. 2, where she danced with the ensemble “Yaroslavna.” Her talent flourished at the Kyiv State Choreographic School (2004-2012), where she earned second place at the “Dance Streams” festival in 2011.

Her professional career took off at the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, where she danced from 2012 to 2017. Here, she excelled in prominent roles such as Odette/Odile in “Swan Lake” and Marie in “The Nutcracker.” Seeking new challenges and broader horizons, Yaroslava embarked on international tours from 2017 to 2020, captivating audiences in countries like Japan, Italy, and the USA.

In 2021, Yaroslava returned to Ukraine to share her expertise as a teacher at the Ballet.ON School. She then joined the Dnepropetrovsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, where she performed from 2021 to 2022. Her journey continued with the Kyiv City Ballet in 2023 and the United Ukrainian Ballet in the Netherlands from 2023 to 2024, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and skilled dancer.

Yaroslava’s repertoire spans both classical and modern ballet, showcasing her adaptability and range as a performer. She has taken on lead roles in productions such as “Backyard” and delivered captivating performances in “Scheherazade” and “Snow White.” Her extensive international experience and unwavering dedication to dance have established her as a prominent figure in the ballet world.
