Rinus Sprong

Rinus Sprong is an artistic entrepreneur from The Netherlands. He started his dance career more than 40 years ago in The Hague, NL, under guidance of Jirí Kyliän the world famous director of Netherlands Dancetheatre. He continued his career at a.o. Scapino Ballet, Introdans, Theatre Choréographique de Rennes (Fr), and Bat-Dor Dancecompany (Isr).

Also he performed in many festivals and creations in Japan, USA, Canada and Europe. Rinus worked diverse musicals and theatre plays as wel television, dance academy’s and choreographed for D.J. Armin van Buren’s world tour.

Together with Thom Stuart, he founded De Dutch Don’t Dance Division, which grew into one of the most inventive organizations in dance education and the development of young dancers.

In 2020 he stopped this directorship to start 7sprong, a chance for him to give space to his many talents.
